Current Projects

Fourth Marking Period

We will be planning and presenting a News Podcast related to an environmental problem or disaster.
Each student will select a topic out of options provided by the teacher.
They will then research the details of this disaster, and assemble visual media (maps, diagrams, graphics, photos) to accompany the story.
They will integrate these visuals with music background and their own script in Garageband to produce a finished Podcast that will be shared on UMTube.
Finally, they will prepare a news summary based on other student podcasts.

Third Marking Period

We will be collaborating on a wikispace dealing with Information Technology.
We will have substantial classtime to work on this project.
Each student will be expected to take responsibility for one page of the wiki, linking to other parts of the wiki, and offering discussion posts on other students' pages.
